Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep expertise in Google cloud platform, Big Query, SQL, and data warehousing is essential for success in this position.
  • A strong background in GCP services, including Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, and more, is necessary for effective data solution architecture and development.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours on occasion due to varied shifts and global time zones within our company.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is crucial for delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Architect and design enterprise-grade data solutions utilizing BigQuery and GCP services.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and cost optimization of BigQuery environments.
  • Develop and enforce data modeling and governance best practices.
  • Establish standards and automate deployment processes for seamless data management.
  • Google Certified Professional Data Engineer certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Python, BigQuery, SQL, and data warehousing is required.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integrations within BigQuery (as an added advantage).
