Compliance Manager Job Description

The Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's adherence to statutory requirements and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for managing direct and indirect taxation, including GST and income tax.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of direct and indirect taxation, including GST and income tax.
  • Manage labour laws compliance, return filings, MCA filings, resolutions, assessments, and other related tasks.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to ensure timely statutory compliance and support audits, respond to notices, and attend hearings.
  • Provide tax planning, advisory, and risk management support to the organization.
  • Collaborate with commercial tax departments, consultants, and auditors for tax audit, statutory audit, and reviews.
  • Offer tax-related advisory services on business transactions, vendor/customer contracts, and new business models.
  • Analyze and prepare monthly and annual tax provisions and tax disclosures in financial statements.
