Job Description

The role of Branch Head encompasses driving the overall business operations of the branch. This involves sales growth, distributor/dealer management, branch profitability, operational efficiency, and team leadership.

A result-oriented leader is required to ensure business expansion while maintaining company policies and market discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth & Sales Management:
  • Drive sales targets and revenue growth for the branch by developing and managing distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks.
  • Implement company pricing, discount, and incentive policies strictly.
  • Identify new business opportunities, institutional sales, and government tenders.
  • Branch Operations & Administration:
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations including billing, collections, stock, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, financial discipline, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain branch profitability and manage cost efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, motivate, and monitor the branch sales & support team.
  • Train team members on products, software solutions, and sales processes.
  • Set performance targets and evaluate staff on defined KPIs.
  • Customer & Market Engagement:
  • Strengthen relationships with key distributors, dealers, and large clients.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct market research, competitor tracking, and provide insights to management.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure all transactions follow company compliance, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepare and present MIS reports, branch performance data, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Head Office for approvals, support, and escalations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development (preferably in IT/biometrics/security products).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in branch P&L management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in competitive markets.
Qualification & Experience
  • Graduate / MBA in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Sales/Branch Management.
  • Experience in biometric devices, IT hardware, security systems, or B2B distribution will be an added advantage.
