Senior Backend Developer

The ideal candidate will lead the design, development and deployment of scalable Python-based applications with an emphasis on advanced features.

  • Design and implement efficient solutions using MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends and backend services ensuring seamless integration.
  • Work with data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling tasks.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards across all development efforts to meet industry best practices.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 15+yrs of total experience with 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced Python development and software design patterns.
  • Strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) along with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent knowledge of React Framework and frontend-backend integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing mid-sized engineering teams (10–15 members).
