Key Role in BFSI Domain

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to contribute to our client project in the BFSI domain. As part of our team, you will collaborate with data science teams, design and develop scalable data pipelines, and create predictive models that empower business decision-making through advanced analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data science teams to implement complex algorithms and analytical solutions, driving innovation and business growth.
  • Use agile development methodologies to improve back-end systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
  • Model front-end and back-end data flows to enable deeper business insights, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data, ensuring high-quality information for analysis.
  • Develop predictive models to drive actionable insights for the BFSI business, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools, with a strong focus on data engineering and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Big Data tools – BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD, ensuring expertise in cloud-based data processing.
  • Strong knowledge of Spark, Hive, Core Java, Linux, and scripting languages, enabling efficient data processing and manipulation.
  • Experience in ETL design, build, and maintenance, guaranteeing high-quality data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau or R, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent, demonstrating a solid foundation in computer science principles.
  • Professional certification in GCP Data Engineer or related fields (preferred), showcasing expertise in cloud-based data engineering.
  • BFSI domain experience is highly desirable, highlighting a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
