Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing responsive web applications using best engineering practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable software solutions, writing code and unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Performing ongoing refactoring of code and delivering continuous improvement.
  • Developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Managing own time and working well both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Working closely with product managers, engineers to implement versatile solutions to complex web development problems.

Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, and experience with Agile or SAFe development environments, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java programming language and its ecosystem.
  • Experience with Spring Boot framework and Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Hibernate and ORM technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and TDD/BDD practices.
