As a senior data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and defining data flows for big data/data lake use cases. Your expertise in implementing full life cycle data management principles, including data governance, architecture, modeling, storage, security, master data, and quality, will be invaluable to our team.

Acting as a coach and consultant, you will provide technical guidance to ensure that architecture principles, design standards, and operational requirements are met. You will also participate in technical design authority forums and collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders to improve data models that feed BI tools.

  • Expertise in implementing full life cycle data management principles.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other technology-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics platform and hands-on experience on ETL and ELT transformations with strong SQL programming knowledge.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience on big data engineering, distributed storage, and processing massive data into data lakes using Scala or Python.
  • Proficient knowledge on Hadoop and Spark eco systems like HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Spark Core, Streaming.
