We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to take on a challenging role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development, with experience working across various SAP modules, custom developments, enhancements, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop Custom Applications: Create custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Extensions, Forms, Workflows – RICEF) and deploy them efficiently.
- Collaborate with Functional Teams: Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop OData Services and CDS Views: Design and develop OData services, CDS Views, and ABAP-based APIs for Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Optimize and Maintain Existing Programs: Optimize existing programs for performance and maintainability, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Debug and Troubleshoot SAP Standard Objects: Identify and resolve issues with SAP standard objects, improving overall system performance.
- Participate in Code Reviews: Collaborate with other developers to review code, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
- Support Migration and Upgrade Projects: Assist in the migration and upgrade of projects, including S/4HANA transitions, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Strong SAP ABAP Development Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development is required.
- RICEF Components and Module Pool Programming: In-depth knowledge of RICEF components, module pool programming, and enhancements is essential.
- S/4HANA Experience: At least one project experience with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
