Job Overview :

we are seeking a seasoned data engineer to spearhead the development and maintenance of our batch and real-time data pipelines.

key responsibilities :

  • design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data architecture for large-scale data processing.
  • collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data needs across teams.
  • optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability.
  • ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all workflows.
  • document data workflows and contribute to engineering best practices.

required skills & qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • proven hands-on experience with both batch (etl/elt) and streaming (real-time) data processing.
  • proficiency in python, scala, or java.
  • strong experience with apache kafka, apache spark, flink, or similar streaming tools.
  • hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as aws, gcp, or azure.
  • proficient in sql and working with data warehouses (e.g., snowflake, bigquery, redshift).
  • familiarity with orchestration tools like apache airflow or dagster.
  • solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and distributed systems.
