Senior Cloud Migration Specialist

The role involves leading complex cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.

  • Lead the technical onboarding process for customers using Managed OpenStack and Managed Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and design optimal cloud-native solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on the use of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies
  • Offer strategic guidance on OpenStack and Kubernetes architecture, including network design, storage solutions, and compute resource management
  • Educate customers on best practices for managing and maintaining OpenStack and Kubernetes infrastructure, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling and operational efficiency
  • Implement automation solutions to streamline deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during customer onboarding and ongoing usage

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Kubernetes: Deep knowledge of managing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native infrastructure technologies
  • Experience with Cloud-Native Technologies: A solid understanding of the cloud-native landscape, including CI/CD, containers, microservices, and cloud infrastructure management
  • OpenStack Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployments, operations, and optimizations
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including networking, storage, compute, and security within OpenStack
  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in writing automation scripts in Go, Python, Bash to streamline operational tasks
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and DevOps best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
