Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bluetooth Host Development Lead to spearhead the development, integration, and optimization of Bluetooth Host Stack components for embedded platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with protocols like HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP, GATT, and GAP, and will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers across development, debugging, and deployment phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Architecture and Design: Oversee the architecture, design, and development of Bluetooth Host Stack components.
  • Bluetooth Profile Optimization: Work on optimizing host stack integration with various Bluetooth profiles (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HID, GATT, etc.).
  • Middleware and Protocol Layers: Design and implement middleware and protocol layers (HCI, L2CAP, SDP, RFCOMM, etc.).
  • Team Interface: Interface with firmware, application, and hardware teams for seamless Bluetooth functionality.
  • Code Reviews and Debugging: Perform code reviews, lead debugging efforts, and resolve interoperability issues with mobile/automotive devices.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Certification and Testing: Collaborate with QA for Bluetooth certification and conformance testing (e.g., BITE, PTS tools).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Bluetooth Host Stack Development: Experience in developing Bluetooth Host Stack components.
  • Programming Languages and Environments: Proficient in C/C++, multi-threaded programming, and Linux-based environments.
  • Bluetooth Protocols: In-depth understanding of Bluetooth protocols: HCI, L2CAP, SDP, GATT, RFCOMM, ATT, GAP.
  • Bluetooth Profile Integration: Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Profile integration (e.g., A2DP, HFP, GATT).
  • Qualification and Certification Tools: Experience with Bluetooth qualification/certification tools like PTS, Ellisys, or BITE.
  • Debugging Skills: Strong debugging skills with tools like GDB, Wireshark, HCI Snoop logs.
