About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake and Azure data engineer to join our innovative team at Elucidata Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a blend of data engineering and DevOps skills to ensure seamless data operations, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes within the Snowflake environment.
• Manage structured and unstructured data storage and processing in Snowflake.
• Optimize Snowflake data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Snowflake.
• Develop and manage data solutions on Azure Cloud, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
• Ensure data integration between Snowflake and Azure services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and infrastructure deployments.
• Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure and data operations for reliability and performance.
• Automate deployment and scaling processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and RBAC.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Preferred Skills: experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana, familiarity with Python scripting, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
