We are seeking an accomplished designer with a strategic vision and exceptional communication and facilitation skills.

About the Role

Our organisation is looking for a highly skilled Service Designer (Mid/Senior) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience, passion, and skills to help us create innovative design solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the competitive landscape and market fit for new propositions
  • Lead research methodology and facilitation with users and stakeholders to gain deep understanding of the opportunity space
  • Utilise systems thinking and create optimised ecosystems that balance user, business, and technology priorities
  • Challenge existing assumptions with behavioural insight and design expertise to ensure new propositions integrate with and augment users' day-to-day and mental models
  • Validate concept and proposition with users and translate actionable insights into next iteration
  • Provide vision and direction to team and stakeholders throughout project and create requirements and share best practice
  • Collaborate with product teams to plan and prioritise features for rollout based on business objectives
  • Work closely with technical teams to push boundaries of what's possible while balancing feasibility of new offerings
  • Creatively challenge existing thinking and patterns to create differentiated propositions in the market
You'll be successful if:
  • You have 6+ years working experience as a Service Designer
  • You can think critically, hold complexity, and think across many layers of an organisation or service
  • You have experience working in financial sector, understanding nuances of the business
  • You have experience working closely with emerging technology and technical teams to push innovation
  • You are comfortable interfacing with and getting buy-in with senior stakeholders
  • You are a creative thinker who is fearless in challenging status quo
  • You still hold sharp analytical problem thinking to ground creativity in realistic outcomes
  • You are a proactive doer with excellent organisational and time management skills, comfortable to iterate and pivot quickly
  • You have outstanding communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • You must be able to work from Hyderabad and co-locate at client offices twice a week
Nice to Have:
  • Experience or curiosity with blockchain and how to leverage its capabilities in new ways
  • Experience working in startups or using lean startup methodologies to test and iterate at pace
  • Comfortable delving into UX / UI design capabilities as proposition progresses
