Personal Care Formulation Expert

We are reimagining the natural personal care space by providing customers a differentiated offering of fresh personal care products. Our team uses fresh and whole ingredients such as milk, yogurt, pulp/juices of various fruits and vegetables as well as fresh flowers and leaves to build personal care products for everyday use.

The founding team has strong startup experience and is backed by top investors.

  • Create innovative and eco-friendly personal care products using fresh ingredients and minimal processing.

About the Role:

  • Develop, formulate, and optimize natural personal care products such as skincare, haircare, and body care items with a more food-like feel and texture.
  • Research and implement novel ingredients and technologies.
  • Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
  • Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
  • Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/Ayurveda.
  • Ideally worked in personal care research and development of a company and has formulated own products.
  • Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
