Role Overview: As a Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret complex data, providing valuable insights that will influence key decisions across departments. This role is ideal for a data enthusiast who wants the flexibility of working remotely while making a significant impact on the education of young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for various teams.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track performance and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and academic performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to privacy standards, aligning with Makoons' commitment to data security.
  • Use advanced analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Python, etc.) to extract meaningful insights and automate processes where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for improving data collection and management systems.
  • Provide regular insights into key metrics, student outcomes, and operational success factors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with managing large datasets and ensuring data quality.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices in data security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
