Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our emergency response team as an assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical support in handling urgent animal emergencies, rescues, and cruelty cases involving animals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and emails related to animal emergencies and cruelty cases.
  • Collaborate with approved animal-protection organisations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials for emergency rescues.
  • File police complaints and First Information Reports, visit relevant agencies, and perform other assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a database of contacts and services available to the emergency response team.
  • Ensure thorough records are kept for all calls and emails received about emergencies and cruelty cases.
  • Participate in professional development training on animal handling, restraining, first aid, and other relevant topics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Voluntary or other experience handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency and fluency in Hindi and English are essential.
  • Knowledge of other local Indian languages and adherence to a vegan lifestyle are highly valued.
