Proposal Writer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with capture teams, subject matter experts, and leadership to produce high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders, ensuring compliance and understanding of solicitation requirements;
  • Write and edit proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure consistency throughout;
  • Maintain a library of past performance resumes and reusable proposal content,
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission;

Requirements:

  • Experience with federal procurement process and procedures,
  • Familiarity with proposal management software,
  • Strong research and analytical skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
