  • Additionally, you will be responsible for training and supervising junior staff members in techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Maintaining a pristine and organized section is crucial for efficient service delivery.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes of assigned cuisine (South Indian/Chinese/Mughlai/Awadhi) with unwavering attention to detail and consistency.
  • Manage mise-en-place and daily food preparation to meet the highest standards.
  • Ensure precise portion control, adhere to plating standards, and maintain impeccable hygiene compliance.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in requisitioning essential supplies.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization within the kitchen section.
    • Commis II Responsibilities:
    • Assist in preparing ingredients, basic sauces, and garnishes under close supervision.
    • Cook standard menu items with guidance from senior team members.
    • Ensure mise-en-place is meticulously prepared for service.
    • Adhere to stringent kitchen hygiene protocols and SOPs.
    • Report any shortages or quality issues to senior colleagues promptly.
    • Commis III Responsibilities:
    • Wash, peel, chop, and store ingredients according to established procedures.
    • Assist with mise-en-place and stock rotation duties.
    • Follow instructions carefully to develop fundamental cooking methods.
    • Maintain spotless kitchen conditions, including dishwashing support when needed.
    • Pursue ongoing knowledge and expertise in assigned cuisine.
