About the Role: As an ETL Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our ETL projects. Your expertise in ETL testing and development will ensure that data flows seamlessly from one system to another, meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the testing efforts of ETL projects, ensuring data flows smoothly between systems.
  • Validating data sources, extracting data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables.
  • Count check, reconcile records with source data, data type check.
  • Validate transformation logic on raw data and identify any discrepancies.
  • Record count check before and after transformation logic applied.
  • Data flow validation from staging area to intermediate tables, intermediate to target systems.
  • Validate all keys are populated correctly.
  • Ensure key field data is not missing or null, check aggregate values and calculated measures loaded in fact tables.
  • Check modeling views based on target tables, CDC applied on incremental load table, data check in dimension table, history table check.
  • Check BI reports based on loaded fact and dimension tables and expected results.
  • Create, design, and execute test plans and test cases.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as ETL tester, SQL, and ETL tools knowledge.
  • Informatica or other ETL tool proficiency.
  • Understanding of AWS services.
