Product Development Expert

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Expert to join our team.

Job Description:

The Product Development Expert will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their data needs and requirements. This includes serving as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their needs are met, and fostering long-term relationships.

The expert will lead and coordinate the implementation process, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet client specifications. This involves conducting regular client meetings to review progress, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for enhancement.

The Product Development Expert will also develop and deliver training sessions to empower clients with knowledge of platform features and best practices.

Additionally, the expert will create and enable efficiency through the creation of runbooks and document opportunities for process automation. The expert will collaborate with the Product Delivery Manager to engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have formal training or certification on Product Development concepts and 1+ years applied experience. They will possess excellent communication and listening skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

The expert will be strong at building relationships and working on cross-functional teams, able to work autonomously, identify and solve problems, and know when to escalate issues.

They will also have a broad understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures, including cloud, data management, and APIs. Functional skills in Python, SQL, and other database technologies are required.

Exposure to operational management and change readiness work-streams is also an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

A basic understanding of financial markets and Securities Services (custody, middle office, and accounting) is preferred. Familiarity with Data Visualization tools is also beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have emerging knowledge of product release and deployment processes and experience in Data Science or a similar field.
