About the Job
Oracle is seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Systems Architect to join our team. This is a high-profile role that requires expertise in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and automate the lifecycle of resources in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including compute, network, storage, load balancing, and more.
- Develop and maintain automated service provisioning features, ensuring seamless scalability and efficiency.
- Create and manage mission-critical Infrastructure as Code workflows, guaranteeing high uptime and reliability.
- Oversee cloud-scale services in production, developing dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and automation to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to service authentication, authorization, and security features, maintaining the highest standards of data protection and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in building high-performance, resilient, scalable, and well-engineered systems.
- Proficiency in one or more Linux distributions, with a strong understanding of system administration and configuration management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and proficiency in at least one public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Working knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Perl, for automating tasks and processes.
- Proven track record of participating in on-call rotations, improving on-call documentation, and contributing to incident response efforts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical designs verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, ensuring seamless visibility into system performance and behavior.
- In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery, redundancy, and operational uptime planning strategies.
