Key Data Engineering Role:

A highly skilled data engineer is needed to design, implement and maintain large-scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data engineering solutions with business applications.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Designing scalable data architectures on Azure
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes using Azure services such as Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics
  • Collaborating with data scientists to design and implement machine learning models on Azure
  • Monitoring and optimizing data platform performance for high availability and scalability

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in cloud computing and Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or C#
  • Experience with Azure services including Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, warehousing and big data technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Junior data engineer with at least 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with data science and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn
