Linux Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Linux software engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Linux-based solutions using technical expertise. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Linux-based solutions using programming languages such as C, C++, and Shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality coding standards.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure seamless integration.
  • Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and improve overall product quality.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux development, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, permissions, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Mastery of Perl scripting and experience with cloud-based services.
  • Familiarity with Oracle/SQL Server and Java technologies.
