Your Role

As a C++ Linux Development on our team, you'll work with software that rewrites the rules of what's possible in the pursuit of making transportation safer, greener, and more connected. In your daily job, you will:

  1. Analyze customer requirements and convert them into design and code.
  2. Develop code in C and C++ languages.
  3. Be responsible for QNX platform/middleware development.
  4. Develop QNX Hypervisor (QNX + Android, QNX + Linux) and QNX driver development.
  5. Bring up boards and have knowledge on Automotive SOC and peripherals.
  6. Have knowledge of Android to work on Hypervisor solutions.
  7. Handle display, tuner, audio, video, and camera.
  8. Analyze and resolve customer and internal reported issues.
  9. Support software integration activity.
  10. Be responsible for software module testing (functional, unit/integration testing).
  11. Understand and involve in various KPIs and related refinements as per project requirements.
  12. Have good knowledge of QNX BSP development.
Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  1. 6-13 years of QNX Platform/Hypervisor experience (Platform, Middleware, BSP).
  2. At least 3 years of experience in Infotainment (IVI/ICC) or Clusters domain.
  3. Expertise in QNX operating system fundamentals and thorough BSP understanding.
  4. Expertise in cmake, bitbake make strategies.
  5. Expertise in C and C++ development.
  6. Experience in board bring up.
  7. Experience using QNX tools and IDE for development and debugging.
  8. Very good understanding of embedded systems.
  9. Ability to understand hardware designs and debugging.
  10. Good understanding and debugging skills of boot sequence and optimizations.
  11. Tools – GIT, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, VSCode, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity.
  12. Knowledge of unit test frameworks (gtest/cuint).
  13. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, complete ownership of the building blocks.
  14. Good team player and should follow agile development methodologies as part of SW development life cycle.
  15. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  16. Highly self-motivated and energetic.
