Procurement and Inventory Management Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Inventory Management Professional to join our team at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS).
About Us: Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) is a leading manufacturer of automotive glass and glass packaging solutions. We strive for excellence in quality, customer satisfaction, and innovation.
Salary Range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements, with a goal of achieving 95% availability and 100% full-fillment.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to secure the best possible terms.
- Monitor vendor performance, including DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time), and share feedback with the supply chain team.
- Create and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring regular meetings and capacity utilization reviews.
- Prepare and analyze inventory norms for Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and Medium-Term Plans (MTP).
- Monitor and control inventory levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Facilitate the liquidation of aged inventory and optimize variable costs through benchmarking and market research.
- Develop and update cost structures for products, ensuring alignment with budgeted procurement costs.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements, enhancing manpower productivity.
- Manage payable aging and cash flow projections for projects, monitoring and adhering to payment schedules.
- Reduce supplier invoice submission turnaround time (TAT) and resolve issues related to supplier payments.
