Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright (or similar modern frameworks).
  2. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
  3. Build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployments.
  5. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.
  6. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.
  7. Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.

Desired Skills

  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced iterative environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
