  • Design and Improve Manufacturing Systems: Design, improve, and integrate manufacturing systems using people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
  • Research and Test Design Ideas: Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Conduct Simulations: Conduct discrete event and in-plant logistics simulations, process flow, material flow, and throughput simulations to analyze facility process efficiency, operator travel time, and generate different what-if scenarios.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Analyze and optimize AGV routes, minimize buffer size, and optimize throughput.
  • Lay Out and Validate Processes: Lay out and validate plant and shop processes, analyze and optimize plant and facility logistics.
  • Write Operation Codes: Write operation codes using cycle time, layout, and process inputs.
  • Perform Manpower Calculation: Perform manpower calculation, line balancing, and bottleneck analysis.
  • Design DOE: Design DOE and facilitate alternative generation for system capacity gaps.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Education: BE/BTech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Experience working in plant environments for validation and optimization.
  • Advantage: European or USA OEM experience is an advantage.
