Financial Oversight Specialist

Experience:

CA with minimum 4-5 years' experience in finance, financial management and reporting.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis – Offshore / FDI Funds Management

1. Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards (US GAAP).
2. Collaborate closely with fund administrators and internal stakeholders to conduct periodic accounting reviews, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes.
3. Support valuation processes of portfolio companies in line with internal policies and auditor requirements, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
4. Manage treasury functions including capital call monitoring, reconciliations, and liquidity planning to ensure smooth operations and optimal financial performance.
5. Provide transaction support for capital deployment, including deal documentation review, payment processing, and post-deal analysis.
6. Prepare and distribute quarterly investor reports, capital account statements, and financial summaries in a timely and accurate manner, communicating key findings and insights.
7. Manage investor communication for capital calls and distributions, maintaining logs and receipt tracking, and responding to investor queries and information requests with high professionalism and attention to detail.
8. Assist in audit preparations and financial disclosures, including coordinating third-party valuation inputs, ensuring seamless integration with external auditors.
9. Prepare and review ad-hoc financial models and dashboards for internal decision-making, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
10. Review tax and regulatory filings/submissions and compliances to ensure full regulatory adherence and minimize risk exposure.
11. Work with tax advisors on direct and indirect tax returns, assessments, and allied work areas to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liability.

• Financial Controlling– Manager and Advisor entities Oversight

1. Oversee the meticulous review of monthly financial statements across all Manager and Advisor entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to internal financial controls.
2. Supervise the preparation and submission of all Direct and Indirect Tax filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely execution of all statutory obligations within prescribed deadlines.
3. Lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring optimized turnaround times (TATs) for disbursements and collections while maintaining robust internal controls.
4. Drive the delivery of high-quality Monthly and Quarterly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for Partners, spearheading the execution of consolidated accounts and cash flow forecasts across all relevant entities.
5. Conduct comprehensive reviews of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and alignment with internal policies.
6. Support special projects and other operational priorities as assigned by the finance leadership, applying expertise and knowledge to drive business growth and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CA with minimum 4-5 years of experience in finance and financial management
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial reporting tools and technologies
