Chief Technology Officer for Global IT Operations

The role of Chief Technology Officer for Global IT Operations involves leading local IT projects and supporting global initiatives in India. Key responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, collaborating with IT centers, and ensuring alignment with Nipro Europe's IT team. Priorities include delivering exceptional customer service, optimizing IT processes, and managing vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will have solid infrastructure knowledge around Network (Fortinet, Cisco), Security and datacenter (VMWare, Veeam). Cloud knowledge (Azure) is a plus. ITIL certification or knowing ITIL foundations is also required. Vendor management skills to deliver excellent service delivery to end customers are essential. Good knowledge of Automation / Manufacturing Execution Systems and experience of working within a global virtual team are also necessary.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have good understanding of IT Environment & Functional business needs with 7 to 9 years of Experience. A Graduate in any specialization with Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Hardware & Networking is preferred.

A competitive salary of approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered to the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for overall Major IT transformation & integration Projects in India including roll-out of global projects at local/India level. You will also propose projects to HQ with project outlines, scope & budget & close follow-up on the implementation. Monitoring daily operations with regards to service desk and proposing projects to improve services to end users for all Nipro Europe is also an essential responsibility.

You will work closely with Chief Information Officer and Global IT Project Manager in order to maintain parity with standard Global IT strategies. Proposing a generic CAB process and ensuring all IT departments follow the CAB instructions is another key responsibility. Managing vendor relationship with our service desk provider and monitoring local Infrastructure e.g. server hardware, network, software & operating systems is also essential.

As a successful candidate, you will assist in testing, installing and upgrading IT systems and services, supporting data storage and backup / restore activities. You will also be the SPOC for local business on any IT related questions, manage local IT budget and ensure customer satisfaction.
