Storage Infrastructure Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and administering our core service SAN and NAS Storage Infrastructure. You will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems within defined service-level agreements. Our goal is to ensure high availability to Storage services with no downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor storage infrastructure for performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Perform proactive health checks, identifying issues and fixing them to ensure uninterrupted Storage services for the business.
  • Assure end-to-end service availability, including high availability, major incident calls, and respective resolutions with RCA.
  • Maintain software and firmware to compliant and stable recommended versions.
  • Assure BCP/DR through replication and data-service recovery through backup with minimal disruption.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of total experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAN, Brocade zoning, IBM SAN Storage, Flash copy, Hypersawp, Policy-based HA, firmware upgrades, performance fine-tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge on NetApp cluster, SnapMirror SVM DR, ONTAP select, ONTAP upgrades, data restore from snapshot, performance fine-tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge on managing SAN switch, Brocade, firmware, zoning, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
