Life Sciences Consultant

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our clients in the life sciences industry towards data-driven success. As a consultant, you'll bridge science and technology to deliver innovative solutions that drive business impact.

About the Role:

  • You will play a pivotal role in applying domain expertise to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that support R&D initiatives.
  • Translate client needs into solution roadmaps and actionable initiatives that drive strategic impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver impactful proposals.
  • Stay engaged through successful delivery and proactively identify client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bridge business, IT, and scientific domains to drive strategic impact.
  2. Support new business development by expanding the footprint of our science, data, AI, and technology solutions within existing and new clients.
  3. Lead proposal preparation, project estimations, and response to RFIs and RFPs ensuring alignment between client requirements and our capabilities.
  4. Develop statements of work (SOWs) and ensure smooth transition from presales to project execution.
  5. Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in bioinformatics, AI, platform engineering, and data sciences.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (M.Sc. with 5+ years / Ph.D. with 3+ years) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with proven track record of consulting in biopharma services organizations.
  • Experience in bioinformatics services, presales, or customer-facing roles in Life Sciences or Biotech; Strong background in bioinformatics tools, OMICs data, and applications of AI/ML in life sciences.
  • Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical data, workflows, and informatics systems across drug discovery, translational, clinical and real-world data, with the ability to articulate strategic and operational impact of data and AI-driven solutions.
