Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior financial analyst to join our team in the knowledge services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting an European private equity client’s CFO office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage project areas in the engagement, including overseeing activity dashboards and delegating tasks among team members.
  • Continuously monitor requests from various communication channels and efficiently allocate ad-hoc activities among team members.
  • Monitor transactions interfaced between ERPs and identify/flag issues accordingly.
  • Collaborate with different teams to gather information on a timely basis and communicate with client teams on task status.
  • Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by the team to ensure they meet high quality standards.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc analysis/reports based on client/team requests.
  • Improve current reports and proactively work with teams/counterparts to add value consistently.
  • Work with other teams within the larger project group on special projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS and handling related reporting.
  • Able to understand group structures and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries.
  • Able to analyze variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses.
  • Able to review results of transaction reconciliations in Intercompany, control accounts, Bank, and others.

Tech & Behavioral Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; VBA programming knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, business dynamics, and others.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid passport.
  • Willingness to work from Infosys office in Bangalore.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
