Job Description
We are seeking an Associate to join our M&A team in Frankfurt, supporting day-to-day deal execution and coverage of corporates and financial sponsors in the German-speaking region (DACH). The successful candidate will develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching, communicate and interact with internal partners across the globe, analyze companies and industries, and prepare pitch books, selling memoranda, and management presentations.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the M&A team in deal execution and coverage of corporates and financial sponsors in DACH.
- Developing client relationships through deal execution and pitching.
- Communicating and interacting with internal partners across the globe.
- Analyzing companies and industries.
- Preparing pitch books, selling memoranda, and management presentations.
- Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis, and financial modeling.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING COMPLEX FINANCIAL/VALUATION MODELS.
- Responsibility for overall project management on live transactions at an early stage, both internally and externally with clients and other advisors.
Your Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have strong quantitative/analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting and valuation. They should be proactive, self-motivated, and able to confidently take on new responsibilities.
