Job Description

As a Product Design Specialist, you will play a key role in crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our mobile and web applications. You will work closely with experienced designers and cross-functional teams, learning about user-centred design processes and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced travel tech environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes for mobile and web platforms.
  • Support user research efforts to understand traveller needs and behaviours.
  • Help develop and maintain design systems and style guides.
  • Collaborate with senior designers to create high-fidelity mockups and visual designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving user experiences.
  • Learn to conduct basic usability testing and gather user feedback.
  • Assist in preparing design presentations for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on latest design trends, tools, and techniques in the travel tech industry.
Requirements
  • Must-Have:
    • Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
    • Design Tools: Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
    • Additional Tools:
      • Familiarity with Framer and Webflow.
      • Visual Design: Basic understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
      • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
      • Passion for Travel: Genuine interest in the travel industry and enthusiasm for creating digital products that enhance travel experiences.
  • Nice-to-Have:
    • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing personal or academic projects related to UI/UX design.
    • Prototyping: Basic experience with creating interactive prototypes.
    • Coding: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
    • Mobile Design: Understanding of mobile design principles and patterns.
    • Illustration: Basic digital illustration skills.
