About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator who can utilize their expertise in building information modeling (BIM) to develop high-quality quantity estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM software, such as Revit, and be able to leverage this knowledge to enhance the estimating process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed quantity estimates using CSI Uniformat and MasterFormat coding
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify discrepancies and missing information in project drawings and specifications
  • Leverage 3D models to improve the accuracy of quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including estimators, engineers, and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM and estimating software

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in building construction estimating, preferably with BIM expertise
  • Strong understanding of BIM software, including Revit, Assemble, and CostX
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
