Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead our cloud-based infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing cloud IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and backup services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and optimize resources.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement and manage cloud governance solutions, including role-based access control (RBAC) and resource policies.
  • Perform regular health checks and security assessments of cloud environments, identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their infrastructure needs, providing guidance on best practices for using cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using tools like PowerShell or CLI.
  • Deploy and configure cloud IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and cloud databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certification.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.
  • Proficiency in cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Strong knowledge of the cloud, including experience with the CLI, APIs, DevOps, Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage, IAM, Virtual Networks, Virtual machines, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Front Door, and ID.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
