Job Description

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Geotechnical Focus)

Leading a team of geotechnical experts, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of geological risk management for our large-scale open pit mine operations. A background in geological science or a related field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive geotechnical studies to inform mine planning and design
  • Prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports detailing potential risks and mitigation strategies
  • Conduct stability analyses and simulation modeling to optimize mine operation and pit design
  • Oversee slope stabilization and monitoring initiatives to ensure safe working conditions

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Geological Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
