About the Job

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reusable components and libraries for test automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and implement scalable solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive UI, API, and integration test cases to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Mentor junior team members and enforce automation best practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Integrate automation tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to streamline processes.
  • Analyze test failures, investigate logs, and assist in root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for test architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Java programming languages.
  • In-depth understanding of TestNG or JUnit frameworks for efficient test management.
  • Experience with Maven, Git, and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing for optimized test execution.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API automation using RestAssured for efficient API testing.
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), System Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies for streamlined project delivery.
  • Familiarity with tools like Allure, ExtentReports, or Log4j for effective reporting and logging.
