Visual Effects Artist Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Visual Effects (VFX) artist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality 2D character animations, UI animations, and real-time particle effects using Unity.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create visually stunning and engaging animations that bring characters and environments to life.
  • Collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to integrate assets seamlessly into production.
  • Optimize visual assets for performance across a range of mobile devices.
  • Lead and mentor junior animators and VFX artists, promoting best practices in Unity workflows.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the internal Unity animation and VFX pipelines.
  • Maintain artistic consistency and technical accuracy across projects.
  • Proficiency in Unity, Spine, Photoshop, After Effects required; Illustrator and Git optional.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in 2D animation.
  • Proficiency in Unity, Spine, Photoshop, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Possess a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
