Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NAND Validation Engineer to lead validation projects from start to finish. You will bring up overall coverage plans during post-silicon phases, plan development timelines, implement test development before silicon availability, and take overall responsibility and accountability for validation flow execution and analysis. You will also drive issues to closure with relevant team members.

  • Design novel test algorithms and develop test programs for validating and characterizing NAND features, commands, timings, and currents
  • Characterize, debug, and validate NAND according to data sheet specifications and in customer designs and systems
  • Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, marketing, tester vendors, design engineering, and RWB teams
  • Develop NAND validation and characterization programs and use those programs to debug advanced NAND designs and features
  • Use high-speed tester hardware to perform functional and design validation of new NAND devices
  • Analyze large data sets on NAND characteristics, proving design margin and functionality
  • Assist NAND design bring-up, validation, reticle experiments, and firmware changes

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in NAND-related product and/or test program development (for Staff Engineer role)
  • 10+ years of experience in NAND validation (for Principal Engineer role)
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, characterization techniques, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Software development proficiency (C-based programming) and scripting (Perl, Python)
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Simulation software know-how (Verilog, Synopsis VCS) is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong self-motivation and enthusiasm

 

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
