Protecting Networks Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Expert to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining all security platforms and their associated software.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive network security policies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, and other network security components.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security best practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement incident response plans and coordinate responses to security breaches.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential security threats and implement countermeasures as necessary.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies.
- Experience with firewall, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, and VPN configurations.
- Ability to design and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer systems and network security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
