Job Description:

The Senior Operations Manager is pivotal in any organization, executing tasks seamlessly will aid in retaining and acquiring new clients. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee operational activities, manage multiple teams, and develop quality assurance protocols to ensure timely compliance with rules on behalf of brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Responsibilities include ensuring brands adhere to existing regulations, standardizing formats according to government, brand, or requirements, documenting collections and verification as per commitments given to brands, proactively following up with key brands and stakeholders associated with Recykal, maintaining attention to detail particularly in compliance-related documentation, managing multiple teams both on-field and off-field, boosting team efficiency by optimizing processes for completions, maintaining constant communication with management, staff, and vendors for smooth operations, developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols, pursuing strategic and operational objectives actively, tracking staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed, lead, motivate, and support a large team in a demanding environment including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution, partner with cross-functional support teams to enhance process implementation, collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

This role requires an individual with 8+ years of experience handling operations, previous experience in waste management is advantageous, able to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work effectively in a team.
