Electronics Engineer for PCB Design

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to develop and validate Printed Circuit Board (PCB) libraries. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing schematic capture, executing component placement, and carrying out PCB routing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate PCB libraries in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Perform schematic capture and ensure design accuracy.
  • Execute component placement considering electrical, DFA, and DFM constraints.
  • Design power split plans and ensure robust power delivery.
  • Carry out PCB routing with controlled impedance and length-tuning as required.
  • Manage the post-Gerber process to ensure fabrication and assembly readiness.
  • Determine layer stack-ups for various board designs.
  • Work with HDI technologies, including blind/buried vias and high-speed peripherals.
  • Apply DFX guidelines during design and conduct validation reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with SI/PI requirements through analysis and validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance design robustness and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with leading PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong understanding of constraint setting, routing, and post-layout checks.
  • Experience with signal integrity and power integrity validation methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in multi-layer PCB stack-up design and materials selection.
  • Awareness of HDI techniques, blind/buried vias, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Good comprehension of DFM, DFA, and DFT considerations in PCB design.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
