At Strategic Talent Partner, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Engineer to lead our Java development team. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of Java and J2EE, with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms and a profound insight of Java and JEE internals.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements:



  • Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
  • Proven working experience in Java development.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
  • Proficient knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
  • Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Experience with MySQL database.

Nice to Have:



  • Experience with Spring Framework and its various modules.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Soft Skills:



  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and also collaborate with a team.

Work Experience:



  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in software development using Java and J2EE.
