Content Editor Role

We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to play a crucial role in our content creation process. The ideal candidate will have excellent editorial skills and the ability to improve the quality and readability of our articles and reports.

Main Responsibilities
  • To write, edit, and proofread business articles and reports for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style adherence.
  • To develop excellent editorial judgment and a keen eye for detail.
  • To write succinctly, objectively, and accurately under deadline pressure.
  • To handle multiple subject areas effectively and efficiently.
  • To translate Hindi stories into English as required.
  • To verify facts, dates, statistics, and other information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • To collaborate with editors and team members to improve content quality and coherence.
  • To conduct research to fact-check and validate information.
  • To rewrite or restructure sentences, paragraphs, or sections for clarity, readability, and conciseness.
  • To ensure proper formatting, layout, and presentation of content.
  • To maintain a consistent editorial style and tone across multiple articles.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's/PG/Master's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
  • Excellent command of English, including exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to write/edit business copies.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and fact-checking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Tech-savviness and proficiency in using editing tools and software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
