Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Job Summary:

Vikgol is seeking a talented Java Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to software engineering best practices.
  • Optimize and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and project planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system functionality and performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, drive decisions, and mentor junior developers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in Java development and Spring framework.
  • Good understanding of databases and querying (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Basic understanding of cloud environments and containerization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
