We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst - Inventory Optimization to join our business operations team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing demand plans, executing inventory buys, and identifying stock shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate demand plans using current and historical shipment information, market trends, and POS data.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to develop specific forecasts down to the SKU-level.
  • Identify and resolve stock shortages by initiating transfers between warehouses.
  • Solve problems as they arise and provide recommendations for current operational procedures.
  • Deliver periodical, in-depth analysis of Purchase, Sales, and Inventory management functions under various parameters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced analyst who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a forecasting/planning analyst role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A clear understanding of measurements such as sales, Inventory weeks on hand, weeks of supply, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and analytical problem-solving skills.
