Lead Cybersecurity Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Lead Penetration Tester to lead security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop secure digital environments.

This is a remote-first role with minimal travel requirements. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive penetration test plans, simulate real-world attacks, and provide actionable remediation guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute penetration testing engagements across various platforms.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
  • Deliver detailed and prioritized reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to implement remediation efforts.
  • Stay updated on the latest threat vectors, exploits, and cybersecurity trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST standards.
  • Proficiency in tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and Kali Linux.
  • Solid knowledge of application security, network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding principles.
  • Experience in testing APIs, mobile apps, and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, CEH (Practical), or equivalent.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps integration.
  • Experience working with bug bounty platforms and responsible disclosure processes.
