Job Title: Java Lead with API Development

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable API solutions. As a seasoned expert in Java development, you will be responsible for leading teams and ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, etc.) to meet business needs.

- Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and testing to guarantee the quality of code and adherence to best practices.

- Optimize API performance, handle issues related to scaling and high availability, and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks and challenges.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to support their growth and development.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with other services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, applying problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to find effective solutions.

Requirements:

- 7 to 11 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on designing and implementing RESTful APIs that meet business needs.

- Proficiency in object-oriented design, multithreading, and concurrency, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS (though AWS is a good-to-have), and experience with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

- Experience in Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs.
