Big Data Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to design and develop large-scale data processing systems utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the primary technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud-based technologies like Apache Beam or Cloud Composer.
- Develop efficient SQL queries to retrieve data from BigQuery, ensuring timely analytics and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data ingestion from various sources into Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Maintain data storage in BigQuery and Cloud Storage, adhering to best practices for data organization and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in GCP services, particularly focusing on data processing and analytics.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in SQL database query writing and GCP, specifically BigQuery.
- Proficiency in cloud-based data processing technologies like Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Apache Airflow.
- Familiarity with data storage solutions such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Knowledge of data ingestion tools like Cloud Pub/Sub.
